Tournaments

Cyber Chess Academy  is an independent Chess promoting organization, formed in March 2007 with the object of promoting Chess in India and encourage children to take up this intellectual game. This academy is recognised by Telangana Chess Association and has hosted many International and National level tournaments. Cyber Chess takes initiative in conducting  Chess promoting activities such as  organizing training camps for children, conducting tournaments for Players of all ages, simultaneous displays with International Masters and Grand Masters and online tournaments.

Grand Master  Elizabar Ubilava,  Woman Grand Master- Ms. Vera Nebolsina and World Chess Federation’s Senior Trainer Mr. Lanka Ravi are advisors of the Academy and also take active part in helping children to improve their skills.
The Academy has been running for the past 15  years successfully and trained over 1000 Students to learn the basics of the game and also making some of them International Rated Players.  The Academy has conducted many International/National Level Tournaments. The following being a few of them:

2nd International Grand Masters Tournament at Hyderabad in 2013
• NMDC All India FIDE Rating Chess Tournament. 2012
• Conducting monthly tournaments named Zugmongers Chess Tournaments for for boys and girls below 20 years of age from 2011-13
• Conducting monthly tournaments named Cyber Chess Rapid Tournaments for the Senior Players and juniors making it a open tournament. This activity is taking place from 2011 till present.
• Conducted Chess Camp for talented boys and girls by World Junior Girl’s Champion – Vera Nebolsina -WGM of Russia
• Conducted Indian Junior Team Training Camp-2010
• Organized SBH National Rapid Chess Championship2009
• Organized NMDC National Blitz Championship2009

and many more tournaments.
