Cyber Chess Academy Oath
I proudly take this oath as a Cyber Chess Academy student and sportsman. I promise to always play with honesty, discipline, dignity, and fair play. I will work hard every day to improve my chess, my health and character. I will study classical and great games to deepen my understanding of chess and avoid impulsive behaviour in thought, speech, and action, both on and off the board. I will never cheat in any form, whether over the board or online. I will not be carried away by praise, popularity, or false appreciation. I will not quarrel, argue, provoke, or fight before a game, and I will enter every game with courage, calmness, and sportsmanship. I will not play any opening that I have not practiced before, and I will not experiment with new openings.
I will respect opponents, arbiters, coaches, organizers, teammates, and fellow players. I will win with humility, lose with grace, and learn from my mistakes. I will be punctual and uphold the reputation, values, and spirit of my academy.
